What tan do you use?

We manufacture our own Carter Beauty spray tan formula and we retail the much hyped, much loved Rockstar line of tanning products for home use. The reason we manufacture our own spray tan formula is simple - it is more cost effective for us which means we can offer you spray tanning at an incredible 15 euro per full body spray tan. We have tried and tested many home use tanning products over the years and we believe Rockstar is the best. At Carter Beauty we are committed to bringing you the best quality treatments and products. What kind of colour is it?

It is a golden colour and comes in three shades; light, medium and dark so you can choose how light or dark you would like to go.

Is there anything I need to do before I get sprayed?

Exfoliate and moisturise well for a couple of days beforehand but DO NOT moisturise on the day of your tan. Wear loose clothes to your appointment. Make sure your skin is free from lotions, potions, perfumes, deodorants and make-up. Wear nail varnish on fingers and toes to avoid staining.

When can I shower after being sprayed?

It is best to sleep with the tan on overnight and shower the next the day.
How long does the tan last? the tan will look great for about 5 days and then on day 6 and 7 you will need to start exfoliating it off.

What do I need to do after I am spray tanned?

Be careful not to touch your skin with the palms of your hands on the day that you get sprayed. It is best to wear long pajamas to bed. Stay away from water until you shower in the morning. Avoid exercise or any activity that would make you sweat.

What do I wear while I am being sprayed and who sprays me?

A therapist will spray you with a hand held spray gun. She will give you a pair of disposable underwear to wear if you like or you can wear your own.
